Essential Esthetics ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website columbusbrazilianwax.com and provides waxing services in Columbus, Ohio. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple because we collect very little.

- Booking information. When you book an appointment, you do so through Acuity Scheduling (a Squarespace company). Acuity collects your name, phone number, email address, appointment details, and any notes you choose to share (for example, skin sensitivities). That information is used to manage your appointment and is governed by Squarespace's privacy policy as well as this one.
- Contact by phone. If you call us, we receive your phone number and any details you share so we can schedule or manage your visit.
- Website visits. Our website does not set cookies and does not run advertising trackers. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect standard server logs, such as IP address and pages visited, for security and performance.
How we use your information
- To schedule, confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments
- To send appointment reminders through our booking system
- To provide safe, personalized services (for example, noting skin sensitivities you tell us about)
- To respond when you contact us
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information

Third-party services
We rely on a small number of service providers to run our business: Acuity Scheduling (appointments and payments), Vercel (website hosting), and Google Fonts (website typography). Payment card details entered during booking are processed by Acuity's payment processors and never touch our website. Links to Instagram and Google are governed by those platforms' own policies.
Health-related notes
Any sensitivities, allergies, or skin conditions you share with us are used only to perform your service safely and are never shared or sold.
Data retention and your choices
Appointment records are kept in our booking system for as long as needed to operate the business. You may ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by calling (614) 778-4456.
Children's privacy
Our services and website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
